I can't get this song out of my head. In fact, I'm listening to it right now. I love it, I think it's brilliant. Its got that 1970s 'across 110th street' soul. If anyone can find a copy of it being performed on the VMAs (I think it was) when the orchestra was all in Star Wars getup, please let me know. Gnarls Barkley, you are a genius.
Other than that, these darn kids think its funny setting off fireworks at all hours of the night. It sounds like a warzone around here. I just watched the sun set over the ocean, and a thousand twinkling lights dart the hill of the Monterey Peninsula across the bay. I'd take a picture, but I dont think it'll turn out.
Check it out if you have time. Don't pretend that you don't.

hey, kids are setting off fireworks in my neighborhood also! ah, life in the city.
and who's this Gnarls Barkley everyone is talking about? I'm all about the Nelly Furtado these days, yo.
Hey borther, I know exactly what you are talking about. I got the video off of kazaa before I left and have the song on my mp3 player. I dont get to see much in the way of fireworks but I tend to hear similiar things, kinda like a warzone or something :P. Talk about making me really jealous with all that Monterey crap. Its only about 120 or so today but I do have sand. Oh well, later man and have fun. Mike
